Role and Responsibilities: 1 Management of Functional Safety Approvals at RFQ, Design and Process Development, and leading to SOP 2 Alignment and Management of DIA sign off, Project Safety Plan and Confirmation reviews 3 Projects are in cockpit electronics (instrument clusters, infotainment, telematics) for local customers, but potentially 4 international production. 5 Agree activities with customer and within the company, in particular with R&D areas, which are then to be scheduled by 6 (sub-)project managers. 7 Coordinate technical issues related to functional safety among the different departments, customer and suppliers. 8 Be responsible of final approval of Functional Safety compliance of the supported projects according to the safety classification. 9 Actively manage the customer needs (incl. offers on changes and new products) in terms of Functional Safety. 10 Support the project manager to define the budget to be allocated for the project safety activities and appropriate schedule. 11 Cooperate with other org. areas such as product development, legal, quality, purchasing, production/operations as needed.
