Job Title FP&A Analyst - Deputy Manager #GBS Job title: Gain experience and knowledge on Global Tax accounting concepts, tools, and techniques. Grow and make an impact on Philips overall objectives and vision. Your role: You are responsible for Carrying out the day-to-day operational activities of the Central Tax Accounting Group and support tax accounting related activities. Manage tax accounting tool(Hyperion) which involves setting up periodical tasks for global stakeholders to submit tax accounting details and assist in resolving issues / queries in submissions. Ensure that local submissions are completed on time and tax operations signed-off in full and enable monthly / Quarterly review of tax accounting positon. Ascertain and drive the Tax Provisions reporting pertaining to - Uncertain tax positions (UTP) & Return to Provision (RTP) Be a front end in Preparation of Equity Schedule & after tax adjusting entries. Cross collaborate with entities to drive, ascertain & Review Tax Cash flow numbers entered by local teams. Critical KPI management on Central Tax Accounting Group- BCS Validation & specific KPI\'s Support all relevant Audits (Internal & External) pertaining to Central Tax Accounting Group Support the preparation of the financial and management reporting relating to the consolidated corporate income tax position. This includes preparation of the annual accounts and disclosures, quarterly financial statements and press releases, period management reporting along with any other one-off reporting requirements. Supporting the digital transformation of tax accounting processes working with accounting and tax provisioning systems and data, envisioning new and creative ways to utilize available tax technology tool, driving tax sensitization, promoting data standards and common practices. You are a part of You will be a member of the Global Business Support (GBS) team reporting to the Central Tax Accounting Group (CTAG). CTAG is part of the Group Tax Function located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands with supporting offices located throughout the rest of the world. The Central Tax Accounting team is collectively responsible for the consolidated corporate income tax position and related tax accounting processes within Philips. You will have close interaction with your colleagues in CTAG, though our work also requires close contact with all the tax and accounting teams across the globe and Group functions like Group Control, Group Treasury, Group Technical Accounting and Oversight, IT (and their respective COEs in the Global Hub). This will require you to work during Amsterdam (CET time zone) working hours to maximize the cross-over time with these Group functions. We are looking for a tax professional who loves technology and its use in improving tax processes. You will play a major role in relation to day-to-day Tax Operational activities such as calendar management, mailbox management, communication and follow-up with local country teams You\'re the right fit if: Central Tax Accounting Group is looking for dynamic and energetic candidates with strong analytical skills, effectively manage tax operational activities and possess knowledge in financial reporting and data management background. Knowledge and experience required: Master\'s degree in accounting/ finance / economics, or CPA / CA level qualification with 3-5 years of post-qualification work experience. Preferred experience in working at Group Tax Accounting . Hands-on involved with month/quarter/Year-end close activities would be an added advantage. Overall understanding of corporate tax, international taxation, transfer pricing and IFRS (especially IAS 12). Work experience / knowledge in tax laws of countries (other than India) would be an added advantage. Good understanding and hands on experience with Tax technology tools & systems (Oracle Hyperion Tax Provisioning/One sourceetc.) Experience with enterprise-wide analytical reporting, Tax sensitization and Tax planning is preferred Experience in driving tax automation projects would be an added advantage Understand the demands and possess practical experience of working virtually within a large international group is desirable.
