Fleet Manager (Department: Operations)

Location - Gurgaon

Salary - 40k to 45k

Fleet Manager is responsible for overall fleet operations from one or more charging and parking hub. These hubs may be self-operated or third-party. Fleet operations involve tracking and tracing deliveries, ensuring vehicle security and charging, supervising timely repair and maintenance of vehicles, and other administrative tasks related to fleet operations.

Requirements:

1) Bachelors degree (Preferred).

2) Min. 2+ years of experience in logistics preferably in last-mile delivery.

3) Min 1+ years of direct experience in managing front-line blue-collar delivery partners.

4) Strong area knowledge of Dwarka or Gurgaon region.

Good exposure in hiring delivery boys for different routes delivery and pickup.

5) Good in optimum load allocation, rostering and planning route-wise delivery boys.

6) Good in using computer and smartphone for email and MS Excel.

Responsibilities:

1) Candidate needs to supervise last-mile deliveries of our clients using electric 3w vehicles.

2) Ensure that required service levels are monitored and achieved. Accountable for on-time deliveries with no product damage or pilferage while minimizing NDR/RTO.

3) Handling a team of support staff & delivery boys. Educating the staff about the importance of shipment handling and the work they perform. Create a sense of ownership for managing the charging and parking hub.

4) Hiring and training supervisors and delivery partners for fleet deployment and deliveries. Communicating with staff about the organizational updates and changes.

5) Ensure maximum availability and productivity of fleet and manpower. Coach and mentor team to drive operational excellence through improvised process implementations.

6) Ensure fleet audit for operational readiness for next day at the end of each business day.

7) Responsible for conducting complete inventory and asset audit regularly.

8) Manage administrative tasks related to hub operations. Deal with statutory compliance officials Check and coordinate with all stakeholders regarding facility related activities like water, electricity bills.

9) Handle customer escalations and investigate root-cause in case of service deficiency or outage. Own recovery process for lost shipments and/or short cash deposit.

10) Provide feedback to central teams on how to improve processes and workflows to achieve continuous improvement in terms of efficiency, cost or quality

11) Maintain proper records of all administrative and operational expenses undertaken in hub. Responsible for the management of petty cash and daily update of expenses in ERP.
