Roles and Responsibility / :

• Developing fire safety plans for building/ construction site
• Ensuring that all fire and life safety systems installed in the work premises are effective, efficient and ready to use
• Ensuring critical analysis of the situation in terms of fire safety to provide input to senior Managementfor decision making
• Reports all abnormalities, incidents in respect of environment, health & safety promptlyand takes immediateactions as per SOP and/or as directedby superiors
• Preparing plans and executing (fire and life safety) evacuation drills and other fire safety related trainings to the team members and occupants available in the premises.
• Ensuring an effective emergency preparedness /disaster management plan is in place
• Supervising Securityand concerned staff,assign /monitor work assignments and provide trainingfor staff on security proceduresand basic fire and first aid
• Conducting Securityinvestigations and preparation of Incident report.
• Handling emergencysituations with efficiency (i.e. fire, evacuations, customer complaints/ human crises etc.)
• Completing appropriate rescue, firefighting and salvage operations at a fire scene
• Conducting Security Risk Assessment& planning effectiveGuarding Strategies
• Conducting Mock Drills on medical emergencies, Bomb Threats/Search Handlingetc.
• Being proficientwith security and safety devices like CCTV, access control,DFMD, fire detectionand fighting system
• Developing liaison with Government agencies e.g., local Police, Fire Services etc.
• Preparation of MIS
