About the role Experienced General Finance Management professional, who implements financial plans, analyzes financial processes and standards, and establishes financial indicators to forecast performance measures. Develops relationships with external financial consultants and advisors, and provides technical advice to functional managers on financial matters. Key Responsibilities : As a FinOps lead, you\'ll be responsible for: Engage with product managers of Carrier Digital applications to understand their product roadmaps and anticipate third-party service needs across Carrier\'s IoT platform Field requests to procure third-party services, working to understand each product team\'s needs and how the services tie into strategic business priorities Act as a liaison between product teams (product management and engineering) and functions who support Carrier Digital\'s procurement and sourcing objectives (Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, Cyber, Finance, etc.) Build cross-functional relationships with leaders and working teams across Carrier o Understand the objectives and perspectives of key stakeholders across teams Clearly communicate relevant summary details to enable decision making Keep stakeholders informed and connected, enabling collaboration and high performance across teams Anticipate dependencies, issues, bottlenecks, and information gaps - use creative problem solving and analytical skills to propose solutions Collect and analyze disparate cost data to enable real-time visibility into costs across teams and projects Understand the unique cost drivers of each contract or subscription Estimate costs incurred by different consuming parties (users, projects, teams, etc.) Identify key takeaways and business impact of costs for each team and budget Forecast future service costs into dynamic and easy-to-understand models Required Experience: We are looking for people who are : . Minimum of 6 years of business operations or project management experience, preferably in the Digital or Information Technology space . Minimum of 3-5 years of vendor management or related experience - familiarity with SaaS subscriptions, software contracts, software development SOWs, and vendor relationships . Previous product management or business operations experience preferred . Previous experience and/or demonstrated aptitude for learning project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Jira, etc. . Previous experience and/or demonstrated aptitude for learning digital tools such as Slack, Confluence, Airtable, etc. . Previous experience aggregating, manipulating, and summarizing data in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other data visualization and analysis tools . Experience communicating with executives and leadership teams . Experience working with remote and globally distributed teams Additional Skills: . Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred . Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master\'s degree in applicable discipline preferred . PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred .
