Department Overview The APAC Controllers team is responsible for all entities in the Asia Pacific region to ensure among others the accuracy and completeness of its accounting and general ledger, timely and accurate local/US regulatory and financial reporting, adherence with regulatory requirements, management of audits and other quality assurance activities, and generally maintaining strong controls and governance for international businesses. About the Role The role requires a developed understanding of enterprise finance functional areas and responsible for regulatory reporting for various countries in APAC. The team member should work with business partners to lead the initiatives, enhance the overall controls in regulatory reporting. Enterprise Financial Reporting is a functional area within the Corporate Controller\'s division responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and complete external financial reporting. This includes but is not limited to US Regulatory Filings (SEC, FRB, OCC, FDIC) and standalone legal entity reporting. Strategic Initiatives supports many of the International Controllership initiatives including key projects, risk identification and remediation, data provisioning, governance and testing, among others. The SI mandate provides for change management, implementation leadership, remediation identification, tactical fixes, organizational design and strategic operating model support. Responsibilities Provide support for US Regulatory & Local regulatory reporting, SEC reporting, and monthly close activities for Wells Fargo International APAC Controllers Group. Maintain and document core processes and controls used across US regulatory reporting and SEC reporting functions. Support testing of International System of Records with US regulatory and SEC reporting. Support preparation, review, and submission of management reporting and variance analysis. Provide support on month end close activities and various audit requests. Access key systems and provide system table maintenance. Assist on audit requests and a variety of ad hoc requests. Essential Qualifications Qualified CA/CFA/ICWA/MBA-Finance with 3+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting Prior experience in preparing US REG or SEC Regulatory Reporting and variance analysis Knowledge of US GAAP and reporting requirements to US regulatory agencies (i.e. SEC, OCC, FED) Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Advanced Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Essbase database skill String analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
