Role Summary
To support the Finance Technology Transformation to assist internal stakeholders in making their processes more efficient, effective & strategically aligned within key areas of Finance, Accounting, Billing & other related processes. To own all aspects of delivery of Technology support on Finance processes including BAU/Project Support & other global platform level initiatives

Skill Requirements

• Experience of current state assessment and Target Operating support model design for technology Support & Project for Financial processes such as Billing, Close & Consolidation, Management & Statutory Reporting etc.
• Ability to focus on technical delivery, risk assessment, reporting, activities ranging from building technical components of the application/solution till hypercare
• Ability to evaluate client operation, application and database structure requirements to formulate and build and appropriate software solution and model for storing & retrieving firm data.
• Ability to critically review relational database design and optimize solutions for improved business processes around Finance & Accounting applications
• Ability to perform project management functions including planning, estimating, status reporting, scope management utilizing SDLC in an agile mode
• Should have managed/worked on business function integration projects ( e.g. SQL server/DB upgrade) to improve system performance and decommissioning obsolete components to reduce maintenance cost
• Should be able to work with applications such as Billing, Finance, Regulatory reporting etc. Experienced in underlying Data validation & Data Migration testing, creation of test plans, test designs and test cases against solutions for the Finance & Accounting applications

• To own all aspects of delivery of Technology support on Finance & Accounting processes and support them on their Business Process Reengineering, Digitization and other transformation efforts
• To understand requirement & impact of Regulatory Controls (SOX, SOC1, SOC2, ITGC) over Internal Controls on the projects from Finance Stakeholders on the Finance & Accounting applications
• Monitor automated & manual control over the solutions over the project SDLC to avoid potential non-compliance/processing of unauthorized data in the Finance & Accounting applications
• Respond to audit queries from FLOD/SLOD/Internal Audit/Business/External Auditors and provide timely and accurate audit evidence
• Maintain clear & detailed -documentation of data & process flows, liaise with stakeholder teams to work on business-specific IT Controls for key processes supported by Finance IT

• Graduation/Post Graduation in Finance/Accounting/Statistics/Arts/Analytics/ equivalent
• 8-14 years' experience in Business Process Transformation in Finance & Accounting processes
• Knowledge/degree/certification in Data Analysis/Data Science etc. is preferable
• Knowledge of C++, Java, Javascript, HTML, Spring, JEE, JSP or JSF Frameworks
• Knowledge or exposure to any ETL, BI Tools and Data Visualization
• Experience in multiple database systems like Oracle, Mysql, DB2, UDB, PL/SQL, AWS, programming, database design and modeling
• Experience in working on projects in Agile & Waterfall methodologies; identified the weaknesses in the processes & controls. defined & coordinated the mitigation plans and monitored the status of the implementation of the same
• Experience in code debugging and bug fixing with string technical, analytical skills with ability to quickly understand client's business needs
