The primary businesses that Corporate Bank support are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through CIO aligned teams and also by \'horizontals\' such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control. About Our Engineers Our Engineers work on a diverse range of solutions using cutting-edge technology every day, including our award-winning platforms like Fabric, Glue, and more. Our Technology strategy is designed to build new revenue streams and develop innovative ideas which produce a new competitive advantage for the Bank, whilst also fixing our foundations and focusing on the importance of stability and risk management. Corporate Bank Technology understands the client\'s needs and has a robust strategy and innovative approach to deliver. About the Team Swift Messaging: We are responsible for Providing integration to the SWIFT network for the entire bank including all business lines. Providing single point of contact for all technology related topic with SWIFT. Delivering connectivity for SWIFT communication protocols like SWIFT FIN, FileAct, InterAct, API Gateway. Integrate flows in the bank with the SWIFT network. Working with SWIFT in the technical advisory group to create new technologies in the industry. Providing the governance on SWIFT technology across the bank. Building robust and resilient platforms to connect to the SWIFT network. Your Role What You\'ll Do As part of our global team, you will be responsible for building out our SWIFT Messaging platform capabilities with responsibilities ranging from improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our controls and integration of further flows. Your role will include hands on development activities as well as leading and coaching our global development team and driving an engineering culture. Delivery of initiatives in collaboration with clients and colleagues, for all new implementation projects Work with a team of full-stack engineers, product managers and DevOps engineers. Implement modern engineering practices, striving to ensure that the team can build, test and release software with the short lead times and a minimum of waste. Work to maintain the current messaging platform and be act as integral part of the modernization process Strive to Contribute towards a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond Collaborate with other teams to build systems and integrate them together. Collaborate with others across the department to share ideas, skills and code. Create and participate in communities of practice across Deutsche Bank technology Ensure that the models you build are reliable and easy to support in production. Collaborate with the GTB architects and engineering community to help define an architectural roadmap and individual solution designs that fit within that roadmap Influence the Bank\'s cloud adoption process Skills You\'ll Need Experience of implementing real time transactional platforms Experience using container-based solutions Experience with Cloud Platforms especially Google Cloud would be a plus Knowledge of what it really means to build and deliver software in a highly collaborative environment, using techniques such as TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. An understanding of the principles of lean and agile software development, as well as experience of the associated practices Knowledge gained in Financial Services environments, for example products, instruments, trade lifecycles etc Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative, empathetic and outcome orientated Experience of working closely and in partnership with senior leadership Deep knowledge of modern programming languages, ideally with experience of both object oriented and functional programming Hands-on experience of integration technologies like MQ Series, Kafka and languages like Java, Spring Boot, monitoring tools like Geneos. Hands-on experience and implementation knowledge of Elastic Stack Side Reliability Engineering skills consider a 24/7 transaction processing platform Preferred Operation System skill is LINUX (RedHat) with scripting experience in Perl Experience of Agile and Hands-on Experience as a Scrum Master is needed.
