What success looks like in this role:

:
Role Purpose: Will perform a variety of financial activities, including (but not limited to) accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, or treasury. Establishes and maintains accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls. Is a subject matter expert in his/her area of focus. Leads large scale complex projects, project teams and/or initiatives to address business needs in support of a Finance program/process(s). Solves problems independently; integrates solutions across areas of expertise. Drives efficiency through the Finance organization through the use of technology and continuous process improvement. - Usually manages other managers and/or high level individual contributors - Focuses on wide-ranging and cross-functional application knowledge - Encourages others to consider innovative alternatives and contributes to business strategy - Sets and directs action plans - Understands functional concepts and drives results

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for internal or external reporting to satisfy both local and global stakeholders

Perform monthly/quarterly/annual reporting close in accordance with USGAAP

Responsible for IGAAP Accounting & Compliance and SEZ/STPI Reporting & Compliance

Support Direct Tax (corporate tax, domestic withholding tax, and foreign withholding tax) and Indirect Tax (VAT and Service tax) Compliance

Prepare Statutory True-up and Forex analysis for Transfer Pricing for India Delivery center

Support / Secure Service Tax (GST) Refunds for India Delivery Center

Interact with authorities on all transfer pricing issues and resolve all income tax related disputes

Manage cash flows of all bank accounts across all CUICs, and locations

Development and maintenance of strong banking/credit relationships

Administration of credit facilities for commercial operations and India delivery center

Sets and directs action plans of Unisys India Finance team

Understands functional concepts and drives results with high level of technical accounting competence

Encourages others to consider innovative alternatives and contributes to business strategy

Manages one or more teams of professionals

Drive internal controls and continuous improvement

Interacts with Internal and External audit teams

Identify compliance risks and execute actions to mitigate such risks

Interacts with Unisys India Board of Directors, support Board activities and actively participate in Board & Shareholder Meetings

Represent the India Board as required in the court of law, Enforcement Directorate, GST & tax authorities etc.

Participate and drive financial integrations as a part of the acquisition and merger activities of the company

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Undergraduate degree with major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (required); and a minimum of 10 years of experience in related area

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent

Familiarity with common financial systems and experience in system interaction

Experience working in a global organization with strong working knowledge of US GAAP (essential)

10+ years experience in managing a team of professionals (essential)

Effective verbal and written communication skills expressed through conversation, instructing, written memos, written work instructions and flow charts

Strong presentation skills including the ability to successfully represent data and ideas

Ability to work in a team environment and lead special projects

Must be detail-oriented, analytical, with problem-solving ability and capable of managing multiple projects and tasks

Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills

Ability to multi-task in a collaborative, fast paced environment

Proficiency in working with a team to identify business process improvements delivering significant value to an organization

Proficient in MS Office with emphasis on Excel, and MS Share Point
