Finance Specialist

You will be working as Finance Specialist will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager and will be a part of GBS located at GBS located in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for processing accounting transactions for Accounts Receivable (AR) in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements

Your responsibilities

• Providing and research fundamental analysis and initial recommendation on customers
• Performing annual reviews of the customers
• Preparing MIS for management reviews
• Performing AR monthly closing activities
• Performing general ledger account reconciliation [AR accounts]
• Establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with business controllers

Your background

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• 0 to 1 years of experience in Order to Cash process [O2C], covering credit, dispute & collection management, reporting and accounting
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, SAP/Oracle knowledge is huge plus
• Good communication skills and flexible in working for any shift timings
