Company Name: FIS Global **Position Type:** Full-time **Type of Hire:** Experienced (combination of relevant work and education) **Education Desired:** Bachelor of Commerce/Business **Travel Percentage:** 0% **: Fixed Asset Accounting** - Perform day-to-day activities related to Fixed Asset Accounting, including processing Capex Invoices (purchased assets) and internally developed software licenses. - Maintain and validate daily trackers for work allocation and activity control. - Prepare journal entries and analyze accounts related to Capital Work in Progress, Sub Ledger Clearing, Fixed Assets Cost, and Accumulated Depreciation/Amortization. - Handle ad-hoc requests promptly and monitor generic mailboxes for timely action. **Duties and Responsibilities:** - Complete Fixed Asset Accounting process activities within defined service level agreements (SLAs). - Create and validate assets through Mass Additions lines and Quick Additions, following applicable SOX and process controls. - Proactively plan for daily work allocation to ensure timely completion. - Keep process documents updated with recent changes and additions, reviewed by Process Lead. - Maintain logs and trackers related to the process. - Timely completion of assigned weekly, fortnightly, and monthly activities. - Support internal and external financial audits and controls. - Build impactful relationships with stakeholders. - Highly motivated and capable of working independently. **What you bring:** **Knowledge/Experience** - Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, financial statements, month-end activities, ratio analysis, and reconciliation statements. - Good knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting, including tangible and intangible assets. - Familiarity with accounting standards such as IAS 16 (PPE), IAS 36 (Impairment of Asset), IAS 38 (Intangible Asset), and US-GAAP ASC 350, 360. - Willingness to work flexible shifts to meet deadlines. - Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail. - Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment. - Strong decision-making skills and ability to multitask under stress. - Earns trust and respect from colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. - Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills. - Knowledge of Access Database, MS Macro, or Alteryx is a plus. **What we offer you:** - A diverse job with high responsibility and various opportunities. - Extensive professional education and personal development options. - Competitive salary and benefits. - Career development tools, resources, and opportunities.
