Job Description
Finance ControllerResponsibilities:- Assist the FP&A Manager in coordinating, preparing, and analyzing the annual budget and quarterly estimates.- Oversee the month-end close process by reviewing business results, prepared documents from FSSC, and providing analysis of Net Working Capital elements including WIP, Inventory, AR, and AP.- Ensure the quality and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting using HFM (Hyperion) and validate the quality of the underlying data prepared by the financial shared service center.- Share responsibility with local business controllers in leading annual external audits for their respective entities.- Provide ad hoc analytical support as required, including preparation of financial models to support business cases.- Develop system reports for managerial reporting and analysis.- Administer and ensure compliance with corporate policies, IFRS, and local statutory requirements.- Assist in rolling out new software and upgrades.- Partner with FSS to address periodic issues and work to improve operational procedures.- Accounting staff will have either direct reporting or dotted-line reporting to the Financial Controller.- Ensure department focus on continuous improvement.
