Role Summary Finance Controller The Controller for our Bangalore Innovation Campus is a tremendous opportunity for an energetic person to be involved in growing Magna\'s engineering campus in India and being part of a team working on some of Magna\'s most cutting-edge technologies. This individual will work directly with our engineering team in Bangalore and be responsible for leading all centralized accounting activities for the Magna Innovation Campus in Bangalore. Working directly with the General Manager and closely with our global product groups and India group office, this person will manage the accurate booking, controls, and compliance activities for our centralized engineering office. Key Responsibilities The Controller position is responsible for leading and managing all accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, internal controls, and SEZ compliance. 1. Supervise Accounting and Payroll personnel in the performance of his/her duties and conduct annual formal evaluations of employee performance. 2. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Payroll, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition 3. Prepare monthly financial statements, quarterly and annual reporting requirements for management, regulatory bodies, and the corporate office. 4. Coordinate Group Office consolidation of finances and audit 5. Complete the finalisation of annual accounts (Indian GAAP) 6. Lead the annual business plan and quarterly forecast process 7. Lead the month end close process and any required Flash reporting 8. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting 9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls 10. Manage and comply with local, state, and central government reporting requirements and tax filings 11. Lead the implementation of a new SAP system Key Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance CA/CMA professional designation SAP experience preferred Familiar with US GAAP and SEZ reporting Solid understanding of transfer pricing / arm length price compliance Work Experience 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience Experience supervising a team Additional Information Competencies: Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work and new learning opportunities Superior financial, analytical, and business accumen with ability to draw quick and accurate conclusions with the ability to act even with imperfect information Strong interpersonal skills proven ability to quickly build trust and rapport with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
