Job Description

Lead and manage all manufacturing operations within the facility, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of equipment while meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets. Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to optimize productivity and minimize downtime. Oversee the manufacturing process from raw material procurement to finished product assembly, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications. Monitor and analyze production metrics, such as production output, efficiency, and scrap rates, and implement corrective actions as needed to improve performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to drive process improvements, resolve production issues, and ensure product quality. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, process enhancements, and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and promote a culture of safety among all employees. Develop and manage a skilled workforce by recruiting, training, and mentoring manufacturing personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Set performance goals for the manufacturing team, provide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and implement employee recognition and development programs. Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to manage inventory levels, optimize material flow, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure a reliable supply chain and foster collaborative partnerships. Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in equipment manufacturing, and proactively implement relevant improvements and innovations. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. A master\'s degree is a plus. Proven experience as a Factory Manager or in a similar manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the equipment manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality management systems. Demonstrated experience in driving operational excellence, process improvements, and cost reductions. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse workforce. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools. Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a continuous improvement mindset.
