Job Description


Responsibilities: The Job Title Senior Business Consultant/P3. The role reports into the Senior Project Manager. The Responsibilities As a member of the MSDC team your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
  • Requirement Gathering, Data Collection, Business Analysis, Implementation, documentation and UAT.
  • Oversee the full SDLC including Test Plan, validation and delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a successful application test strategy, test plans, test cases, traceability methods & Quality Metrics.
  • Take complete ownership and responsibility of functional areas.
  • Participate in testing and QA of functional domain of the business applications.
  • Responsible for the Solution Design and ongoing Solution Governance, ensures that the agreed solution is being correctly implemented using Misys Application Process Solutions.
  • Work with development teams to define and execute testing strategies and who will define, develop, and deliver test solutions.
  • Analyzes and resolves process issues and deltas.
  • Assists with preparation and execution of test scripts.
  • Provides support for conversion planning.
  • Assists Client with configuration of base code tables.
The Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience Functional Knowledge
  • Knowledge on Commercial Lending Domain.
  • Loan IQ.
  • Exposure to working with multiple clients from various locations around the world.
  • Defect Management and Reporting.
  • Able to work on multiple projects at a given time to meet the required objectives for project deliveries.
Experience
  • 5 - 8 years? experience as Senior Functional Consultant / Functional Consultant in the software/financial industry.
  • Experience in testing in Commercial Lending, Syndicated Lending banking/trading/treasury/financial market/Asset/Portfolio Management applications is a plus.
  • Prior experience with on-site implementation of enterprise application
  • Exposure to working with multiple clients from various locations around the world.
  • Agile and flexible in their approach, innovative and resilient.
  • Should be customer oriented and an excellent communicator both Verbal and written.
  • Excellent in conveying the client?s requirement to the team.
  • Good team player.
  • Ability to liaise with multiple teams.
Travel requirements
  • Should be ready to travel on short or medium term assignments on need basis.

In this model not only the team performs tasks offsite, they also carry out Onsite tasks in parallel with the Regional GS team. MSDC works closely with the Regional GS team to combine solutions with technical expertise and product knowledge thereby ensuring that the deliverables are of high quality and meet the customer requirements.
