Position Executive - Safety

Reporting To Manager Warehouse (Operations)
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 To regularly monitor safety standards and procedures in the DC, and respond to emergencies and incidents in the facilities, providing advice in HSE-related matters

• Safety meetings in DC, provide orientation & safety induction training to employees and contract workers including Fire prevention, and Emergency response plans
• HSE training needs analysis in the DC, prepare training plans, coordinate/deliver in-house HSE training, and maintain training records
• Conduct safety inspections of work areas and prepare reports of observed safety hazards, violation of safety rules & regulations, for improvements of safety standards
• Analyze, report and carry out thorough investigations when incidents occur on accident reports and evaluate injury case studies based on available facts
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, EPA, etc.) Stay abreast with all legislations,
• Recommend and ensure Control measures on PPEs
• Proven experience in safety management with Deep understanding of health and safety guidelines
• Skills in data analysis and risk assessment (HIRA)
• Conduct safety audits on personnel, equipment and materials
• Promote Safety culture, develop & implement emergency procedures, Supervise waste management, psychological safety.

• Diploma/Graduate from a recognized university or institute preferably in environmental health and safety).
• Should have minimum 2 to 5 years\' experience in warehouse / logistics safety
• CHST Certification preferred
