About the Opportunity: The position will use skills and knowledge to support FPOs in their input and output logistic activity. And the GIV Business development & Operations management is part of all activities related to receiving and unpacking packages, documentation & dispatching stocks. Also, record & report breakages, major spills & contamination to reporting officer also should have skilled enough to arrange for the transportation as and when required. Reporting and relationships: The position reports to the AM Agri Services. Availability: The Executive Logistics will be expected to work a typical work week of 40 hours, plus additional hours to get the job done. The position will be based at project sites in selected districts in India. This position will need to be flexible to work in local conditions and be available to work across different time zones. This position will require intensive travel to field locations and partner branches for project-related work. travel (60%-80%) within District. Key Responsibilities

  • Arranging for transportation/bags/labour and others as and when required for Marketing.
  • Coordinate with demand & supply side of the value chain for smooth delivery.
  • Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount/quantity and type of stock is delivered.
  • Tracking delivery/supply of goods/shipments.
  • Foresting demand and supply of Agri input as well as output.
  • Heeding notes about appropriate procedures for handling stock, particularly when goods need special care.
  • Preparing clients’ orders by gathering and loading stock.
  • Reporting all breakages and spills.
  • Offering assistance to other staff in the department during lulls in business.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge for agriculture input and output marketing is preferred.
  • Identifying & arranging local transporter as and when required.
  • Prior experience as a logistics assistant at a large warehouse.
  • Sound knowledge of shipping processes and metrics.
  • Strong communication, memorization, and teamwork skills.
Education and Experience
  • Any bachelor’s degree, or equivalent from recognized university.
