Join us as our new Executive - EHS
We are seeking for a motivated candidate who shall be responsible for EHS role at our Wada Plant. This position reports to AGM - EHS and shall be a key member in EHS team. This role is ideal for candidate pursuing a highly motivated career in EHS.

Welcome to EHS
EHS function provides strategic, tactical and operational support to Novozymes core business on Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety matters that are critical from compliance point of view as well as sustaining the EHS standards of the company. Novozymes is a high-energy team located over 14 sites in Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, and Asia.

In this role you'll make an impact by:
Opportunity to participate in project executions under EHS purview.
Engage with workers and contractors and undertake EHS trainings.
Responsibility of record keeping, maintenance of EHS documents, PPE stock management.

To succeed you must hold:

• At least 4 - 6 years of experience in a role relevant to EHS domain with:

• strong communication skills
• Well versed with Effluent Treatment operations (ZLD), Safety guidelines.
• A desire to work independently and proactively with internal and external stakeholders
• Should possess good knowledge of Fire Protection system, HAZOP methodology, Risk Assessments, Permit to Work system and Management of Change.
• A Graduate / Diploma holder in Chemical Engineering / Environmental science along with ADIS.
• Prior experience with API firms, Specialty chemicals would be added advantage.
• Ability to work effortlessly in both written and spoken English, in a global organization.

This job will be located at Synergia Life Sciences Pvt Ltd (now a part of Novozymes), Wada, Palghar.
