Key Roles & Responsibilities Qualification Experience 1. Overall guidance and direction to the related Team. 2. Overall management and co- ordination of ongoing agriculture / livelihood projects Pan India. 3. Directing the Team on various research and knowledge programmes and initiatives. 4. Promoting the related brand image of the Firm through necessary partnerships and knowledge events. 5. Guiding and monitoring the team in delivery of larger as well as smaller assignments in India. 6. Spearheading Business Development initiatives and developing the practice as to help it evolve into a market leader in the global context. 7. Evolve overall strategy as well as new services for the holistic development of the agriculture and livelihood the ecosystem in India. 8. Identify and build relationships with partners in the private, social, and government sector as to initiate coordinated action. 9. Strategic oversight of planning and budgeting of the activities of the practice. Qualification - Post Graduate degree in Management / Agribusiness management / Agriculture Economics / Rural Development from a renowned institution. - Strong communication, analytical, writing, interpersonal and leadership skills Experience - At least 15 years\' experience in designing and implementing community level Agriculture and livelihood projects. - Experience of leading large Teams and providing necessary Technical Assistance and guidance to Teams. - Experience in guiding and facilitating convergence with various schemes as well as developing partnerships with various business development service providers. - Must have extensive networks and contacts with stakeholders in the related ecosystem. - Demonstrated knowledge leadership in the practice. - Must have extensive experience in providing capacity building and training inputs to stakeholders in the ecosystem as well as a track record in related knowledge publications. - Should have demonstrated expertise in successfully providing a range of services to self-help groups, farmer producer organisations and as well as nano and micro level potential as well as existing entrepreneurs. - Experience in handling P&L responsibilities. - Substantial experience in business development and in compiling proposals to large multilateral development organisations successfully. This is particularly with reference to large transformational projects related to rural development and livelihood promotion. - Expertise demonstrated in at least some of the following areas- market connect, common facilities / infrastructure, credit connect, financial inclusion, and institution building in the context of SHG livelihood networks and producer organisations. . Organisations from where such profiles may be sourced from organisations and institutions like: Isha Foundation, TechnoServe, Microsave, AMUL, Samunnati Financial Intermediation and Services Private Limited, Friends of Women\'s World Banking (FWWB), Access Livelihoods, ACCESS Development Services, PRADHAN etc.
