As a Service Engineer/Technician at Volta EV Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our electric vehicles and maintaining customer satisfaction. Your technical expertise will contribute to enhancing our reputation as a reliable electric mobility provider. Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and troubleshoot electric vehicle issues reported by customers or identified during routine inspections. - Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and assessments to identify maintenance and repair requirements. - Perform maintenance tasks such as battery checks, electrical system inspections, and mechanical repairs. - Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to provide valuable feedback on vehicle performance and potential improvements. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns, explaining repairs, and offering recommendations for optimal vehicle usage. - Keep accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs performed. - Stay updated with the latest electric vehicle technology trends, service manuals, and repair techniques. - Assist in developing service procedures and guidelines to enhance efficiency and service quality. - Adhere to safety protocols and standards while working with high-voltage electric vehicle systems. Desirable Profile :- Qualifications and Requirements - Diploma or degree in Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic, preferably in the electric vehicle or automotive industry. - Strong understanding of electric vehicle systems, battery technology, and charging infrastructure. - Proficiency in diagnostic tools, equipment, and software used for electric vehicle servicing. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach. - Effective communication skills to interact with customers and the internal team.
