Job Description

You will join the Global ESX Infrastructure Support team and leverage your knowledge of programming and infrastructure automation to affect change.

The right person for this role will have:

• Prior experience in both Systems Engineering and Software Development
• Advanced knowledge in infrastructure disciplines and functions as below:
  • Internals of VMware vSphere 7.x, vCF,NSX and vSan.
  • Systems programming
  • Network programming
• Experience in large scale software development in Python and one or more of the programming languages (JavaScript, Java)
• Enterprise scale and resiliency
• Experience in system and software security and entitlements (SSO, windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD)
• Modern compute technologies (e.g., virtualization, cloud)
• Familiar with Agile development process and automated testing
• Experience working across large infrastructure environments and distributed across multiple data centers
• Experience in end-to-end systems automation and orchestration
• Experience in Systems and Application monitoring systems and instrumentation
• Experience building large scale full stack application using modern JavaScript and Python Frameworks
• Experience designing large scale distributed applications
• Test Driven Development
• Modern Web Security

Experience

• Experience working in teams following Agile methodologies
• Experience with TDD or BDD in JavaScript and Python
• Experience writing Unit, Integration, Functional tests in JavaScript and Python
• Experience developing Cloud Native Applications using Advanced Angular and Django Frameworks following the industry standard best practices
• Experience working with Relational Databases
• Experience in designing and building distributed applications
• Experience with CI/CD
