Job Title: Director, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Horizon Cloud Services, End User Computing Business Unit The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this new opportunity? As a Director, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) you will play a leading role in changing the way that the Horizon SaaS products are delivered within the company, devising, and implementing a modern approach to software engineering and infrastructure that enables continuous delivery and by releasing features on demand. Responsibilities include, managing all aspects of Horizon cloud product SaaS implementations and Services including Edge deployments along with the design, install, monitoring and uptime of the SaaS Systems. It includes partnering with Engineering, Product Management, and Global support groups across the product line. Horizon Cloud Service provides a multi-tenant, cloud scale architecture that enables customers to choose where their virtual desktops and applications reside(Cloud, on-premises or both). Our goal is to enable customers to digitise their workspaces by accessing Virtual desktops and applications from anywhere and on any device. As part of Horizon cloud services team you will be a technical leader who contributes to deployment architecture, DevOps, SecOps, Customer Engineering. You will be owning engineering initiatives and champion a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering and operational excellence. Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? As a leader in Engineering, you will:

• Manage headcount, budget, hiring, and onboarding
• Grow leaders along the managerial and IC tracks
• Bring clarity and reduce uncertainty in complex project and people situations
• Role model the behaviours and mindsets needed to drive our SaaS transformation

What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

• You and your Organization will Design and implement - deployment, operations, and manageability of highly efficient solutions for security, resilience, performant, networking, availability, Blue-green SaaS deployments
• Your organization provides Infra patching automation and life-cycle management with zero downtime patching, System dashboards and alerts & monitoring for a large footprint multi-region, multiple customer SaaS and edge deployments.
• You will lead end-to-end operations of mission-critical SaaS system applications supporting high volume systems with high through-put and low-latency
• You will drive system readiness and hardening to enable significantly high throughput for peak season volumes 5x the regular volumes
• You have sound DevSecOps (Core Infra, SRE, and Security) domain knowledge managing Infrastructure at a very high scale
• Your team will ensure that security hardening of infrastructure application/web server against known/unknown vulnerabilities are upto the mark
• You thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority
• You will establish security operations team in India
• As a people Leader, you will recruit and grow critical talent, have the passion for coaching and mentoring DevOps engineers, create mechanisms to help the team deliver independently.
• You will Leverage OKR methodology to establish end-to-end operations of mission-critical SaaS system applications supporting high volume systems with high through-put and low-latency
• You will help shape our observability track by providing valuable inputs and requirements.
