Overview and responsibilities

Manager role works closely with US Business Integrity leaders across Employment Practices Compliance (EPC) and Government and Trade Compliance (GTC) teams, noting:

Manager will report to EP Compliance Leader, matrix reporting to GTC Leader;

No intended reporting lines into local AC E&C teams; and,

Manager will be expected to build relationships and work with local AC E&C teams and other enabling functions (e.g. People Team, OGC, IT, etc.) as needed.

x-EPC and GTC responsibilities:

Building relationships and serving as a compliance resource on employment, political, and trade compliance US and local regulations in US ACs within India, the Philippines, and PwC SEAPEN region

Managing and driving key performance indicator (\xe2\x80\x9cKPI\xe2\x80\x9d) development and reporting with E&C AC teams/local ACs, emphasizing data analyses and visualizations, and compelling storytelling based on EPC & GTC programmatic and regulatory processes.

EPC-focused responsibilities

Managing local EPC-related inquiries and matters, working with US and local AC E&C and related enabling functions (e.g. People Team, Talent Acquisition, Inclusion & Diversity, AC CoE, etc.) consistent with local regulations and firm policies.

Executing US and local EPC programs, working closely with EPC and other US and local teams (as required) with an eye toward project management, monitoring, and process optimization.

GTC-focused responsibilities

Monitoring the E&C Government mailbox, including managing the review, triage, and response to and resolution of matters related to direct messages

Serve as a GTC liaison and point of contact for US and AC Kolkata teams

Assisting with Restricted Party Screenings, from leading the initial reviews of potential hits to escalating and resolving issues with the AC E&C and US Risk Research teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Prior professional experience working within a highly regulated, compliance-driven business culture and/or compliance/legal function preferably within these following industries: banking/finance, aerospace and defense, and/or professional services, and emphasizing the following areas:

Understanding, analyzing, and translating into actionable business recommendations/requirements laws and regulations related to employment, government, and trade compliance and/or other-related business conflicts of interest areas (e.g. anti-money laundering, sanctions, etc.);

Demonstrating self-motivation with self-directed learning and upskilling of new technologies, new business compliance laws/regulations and trends, documenting operational procedures, and/or escalating or raising questions when procedures/tasks are unclear or business-related issues exist; and,

Having direct involvement with the review of sensitive client data and/or employee PII and SPI to support internal business programs and reporting needs for both business leadership and external audiences (i.e. clients, industry organizations, regulators, etc.).

Demonstrates business levels of proficiency with the following work productivity platforms: Microsoft 365 (emphasizing Access, Excel, Project, Teams, and/or Word), Google Workspace (emphasizing Docs, Forms, and/or Sheets), Workday, Salesforce, and other similar business collaboration technologies.

Possesses and utilizes the following levels of business communication fluency in US English language, emphasizing the ability to work with and build consensus across different teams and demonstrate acumen with cultural awareness: Native English, Full Professional English, Professional Working English.

Ability to work in both a team environment and independently (during periods of reduced interaction), demonstrating a project management mindset that is oriented toward time and resource management, focused attention to detail, and utilization of process optimization methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and/or technologies (e.g. Alteryx, Power Excel, Power BI, UI Path, etc.) toward business operational improvement.
