Hiring for Sr. Manager role for the company into Courier & Logistics.

Designation- Enterprise Architect-IT

Areas of Responsibility

Strategy:

1. Assess and establish current state of technology portfolio, development stack & deployment architecture. Develop a roadmap for phase-wise progression towards 100% cloud-based future, with strong foundations of data engineering, AI/ML, cyber security, & automation

2. Establish short & long term execution strategy to migrate on-premise applications & infrastructure to cloud, integrate new cloud native applications with legacy systems, SAAS applications in a hybrid cloud environment

Execution:

1. Work as technology architect - leading development, migration & implementation of large scale enterprise mobile/web applications on AWS

2. Lead high/ low-level design of micro service architecture-based applications

3. Lead development of full DevOps using Jenkins, Nexus, Clair, Sonarcube

4. Manage projects using Waterfall & Agile methodologies

5. Anchor assessment of emerging/ new technologies & solutions through proof-of-concept experimentation with own & partner technology teams. Lead the first stage of innovation.

6. Establish and run cadence of technology governance with Tech Leads from project execution teams with milestone/ monthly scorecard, risk mitigation, and change control

7. Develop & maintain multi-level stakeholder relationship internally with business leadership, and externally with vendors, partners and customers for effective technology delivery and escalation management

Technology Exposure Required:

1. Hands on roleplay through SDLC phases of bespoke open-source web & mobile applications of multi-tier architecture (Java/ J2EE)

2. Experience with cloud native microservices based applications. Experience in implementing various microservices design patterns like Service Discovery, Circuit Breaker, API Gateway

3. Hands on experience in implementing DevSecOps processes by using various CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Kuber netes, Git Ops, AWS cloud formation, Maven, Sonar, Clair scanner etc

4. Deep knowledge on test automation frameworks like Selenium, Rest Assured & JMeter for load testing

5. Expertise in cloud container platforms like AWS EKS & ECS

Team Management :

1. Direct reports to this role - Architects, Tech Leads & Software Developers

2. People management responsibilities for direct reports including hiring, career planning, appraisals, coaching & mentoring

Education :

- Graduate in Science or Engineering discipline (mandatory)

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent (mandatory)

Relevant Experience

- Total professional work experience between 10 to 15 years

- Hands on development work experience in bespoke software development projects

- Managed team of Architects & Tech Leads, and multiple concurrent projects

- (desired) experience of working in Software Product, and/or IT Services organization

- Industry domain exposure - logistics/ supply chain/ industrial/ engineering/ manufacturing
