In November 2021 QS acquired StudentApply, a digital ed-tech platform which connects students from all around world with global universities and simplifies the college and university application process. In launching this new division, QS now provides dedicated end-to-end enrolment support for students, education counsellors, and university partners through a team of expert QS student enrolment managers. Our aim is to provide the best possible guidance, tools and support for students working directly with a QS Enrolment Manager, through our authorized educational agency partners, college counsellors, or other recruitment partners within the region. Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience and help students and recruitment partners find the best possible options for their international education journey.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be a proven self-starter with the ability to work across multiple channels to support student enrolments to QS partner institutions. The role will focus on supporting students and parents seeking to work with the QS expert enrolment managers to support their study abroad journey. The role requires being equally comfortable working with students, parents and a wide range of QS team members. Most importantly, the successful candidate will believe in our mission of enabling motivated students to access the best education options around the world.

This role will report to the Senior Partnerships Manager, North India.

Key responsibilities include:

Student engagement and activation

  • Supporting QS online or offline events in the region
  • Deliver in-person and online presentations for students and parents, to inspire students in curating their college aspirations
  • Counsel prospective students through their university enrolment journey
  • Promote the merits of applying to universities via the QS platform, as well as the other benefits it brings
  • Work closely with regional leaders and colleagues to identify and stay on top of industry trends and new students' opportunities
Student retention, servicing, and conversion
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from students and parents
  • Nurture and keep track of assigned student leads and report their progress to regional leaders
  • Collaborate with admissions and regional team members to assist the assigned students in all key stages of their enrolment journey - university search, application management, document submission, offer acceptances, visa processing and pre-departure prep
  • Stay up-to-date with university destination, programmes, entry requirements and any other knowledge required to champion student servicing and conversion
Student Journey optimisation, building processes & infrastructure
  • Work across our global team to provide best practices, training and destination specific knowledge
  • Contribute in developing and adopting processes to build data to manage student engagement throughout their journey and conversion thereafter, within the assigned region
  • Maintain up-to-date records of program requirements, scholarships, and deadlines with the QS regional admission teams

The ideal candidate will have:

Demonstrated knowledge and experience
  • 4+ years' experience in sales and customer service within the international higher education space
  • Expertise in institutions, admissions requirements, and visa processes for major study destinations (USA, Canada, UK, EU, Australia)
  • Experience working with an educational agency and/or international institutions as a representative is a plus
  • Experience prospecting and qualifying student inquires using local knowledge
  • Experience delivering high levels of customer service to recruitment partners, students, and families
  • Knowledge of the international education industry, local high school networks, local universities, and education agents in your territory
Technical skills and qualifications
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working with a CRM (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Ability to work across cultures and languages
  • Advanced English skills are a must
