The primary responsibility of this role is to review all engineering design plans, perform calculations, design and construct electrical systems and their components, liaison with other engineers, and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. This position would require reading of technical drawings, understanding of technical aspects of Control and Distribution Components with related applications of low voltage & medium voltage products. This exciting role offers opportunity to: A. Analyze technical drawings, interpreting single line drawings & specifications, and determining the electrical requirements of a given project. B. Liaison with other engineers and clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction. C. Generate user manuals of electrical gear for O&M and Submittals for our Customers by understanding customer requirements and interpreting electrical drawings. D. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects. E. Collect and analyze project information to create status reports and recommend future actions F. Interact with project engineers, interpret their needs and requirements, and incorporate the same in the jobs. G. Use electronic tools and applications to generate customer documentation, primarily Submittals and O&Ms. H. Manage and monitor all assigned electrical projects. I. Develop a healthy working relationship with the US team for effective problem resolution and guidance. J. Maintain and update detailed and accurate reports of electrical projects K. Apply standard work, error proofing, and application knowledge to drive continuous improvement. L. Maintain and update internal reference materials. M. Update all the process trackers in real-time to give a better insight into the workload. N. Provide inputs to product marketing and engineering regarding updates of the catalog information, renewal parts information, technical drawings, and any other technical documentation found on the website. O. Remain up-to-date with the latest technologies and developments in the electrical engineering sector

Qualifications

  • Education level required: Graduate in Engineering (Electrical)
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Switchgear Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Engineer
  • Technical knowledge
1. Ability to read and understand technical single line drawings 2. Ability to interpret customer specifications, electrical and mechanical drawings 3. Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe expert,BidManager, Enovia, Vista, SharePoint etc. 4. Familiarity with CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD, FreeCAD, and Fusion 360° 5. Excellent technical and researching skills
