Title: Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Casting Method
Introduction:
The position will be responsible for the Pattern & Product Development of Castings.
Main Responsibilities:
Should have a strong command on drawing study.
Should have hand on experience to operate AutoCAD & 3D modelling software (AutoCAD, NX & Solid work)
Strong command to make Pattern design, Pattern making and understanding of moulding process.
Should have knowledge of steel casting methoding.
Should have basic knowledge of simulation software where he can interpret simulation result and analyse to make optimum casting method.
Good knowledge on foundry processes and able to work on moulding to implement good practices as well as to maintain process in control.
He should be able to address regular production issues and give them solutions according to need.
Able to do material plan for the Pattern manufacturing & Pattern repair
Hand on experience to do Pattern inspection.
Able to Handle entire Pattern shop, pattern makers to manufacture Pattern, Pattern storage, material organizing.
He should be able to work more on shopfloor for the implementing good practices in the foundry shop.
Should be able to do implementation of ISO, 5S, lean & Six Sigma concepts.
Should have problem solving skill.
To succeed:
This position prefers a Diploma or BE Mechanical / Mettallurgy with 6 to 8 years of Experience in product development.
Must have proficent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Adobe and SAP environment.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and English communication skills are required (oral and written).
