POSITION SUMMARY:

Basic purpose of the position is to ensure reliability and maintenance of equipment to aid production in producing a quality product at low cost maintaining all relevant documentation in line with major systems like TS16949, ISO14001, OHSAS18000, Gates production system and Maintenance Excellence program.

BASIC PURPOSE & FUNCTION:

• Responsible for Mechanical maintenance activities in shop.
• Root cause analysis, Problem solving and management of breakdowns.
• Timely updating of TS 16949, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 records related to maintenance.
• Ensure collection, updation and analysis of Mechanical breakdowns.
• Active member of implementation team for Maintenance excellence systems (TPM).
• Implementation of capacity enhancement of projects and improvement activities.
• Support Production to implement quality improvements and Error proofing.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ Skill (minimum required):

B.E / Diploma in Mechanical engineering with minimum of 2 years relevant experience in either similar industry or Automobile sector. Must have some experience on TPM implementation.

Good understanding of Hydraulic & Pneumatic system. Must understand fits and tolerance, Guarding, Fabrication, safety controls, awareness of problem solving tools and MS office tools.
