JOB TITLE: Engineer I - Planning KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: \xef\x81\x93 Develop & update various project monitoring packages viz level 3 schedules, progress measurement
system, project reporting systems and invoicing systems etc.
\xef\x81\x93 Assimilate scope of work and conceive the project in terms of schedule.
\xef\x81\x93 Assist engineering & procurement disciplines in preparing micro schedule for technical document register
deliverables & procurement tracking register milestones schedules and provide input as required. Prepare
the construction activities schedule in consultation with the construction team
\xef\x81\x93 Timely issue of quality project planning deliverables & progress reports.
\xef\x81\x93 Monitor the work in progress with respect to the approved schedules/milestones and prepare weekly/
monthly progress reports.
\xef\x81\x93 Review proposals from subcontractors on project execution and schedule.
\xef\x81\x93 Keep PCM & Lead planning engineer appraised of the status/ constraints.
\xef\x81\x93 Responsible for preparation and updating the commodity release plan/ curve.
\xef\x81\x93 Identify and communicate potential schedule constraints to proposal team to ensure bid clarifications.
\xef\x81\x93 Analyse and communicate to the Lead project control engineer/ Project Manager on observation of any
instance across disciplines for any major variance between the actual work in progress and the approved
schedules.
\xef\x81\x93 Post award review the contract for schedule and commercial parameters to validate/ compare with the
original submitted documents.
\xef\x81\x93 Participate in department development activities for continual improvement in the project control system &
services.
\xef\x81\x93 Assist Sr Planning engineer in schedule assurance and risk analysis process
\xef\x81\x93 Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the HOD. Minimum Requirement Graduate Engineer with a minimum experience of 6-7 years. Having experience in project controls.
knowledge of Primavera and Engineering deliverable monitoring and procurement activities progress
monitoring.
