As an Electrical design engineer solely responsible for Design and Development of electrical systems / components and instrumentation of Underground division Nashik products.
Job description

• 
  Design and develop different electrical systems / components of Underground mining products and analyze the same with senior colleagues for implementation
• Perform engineering design calculations as required
• Profound knowledge of preparation of engineering drawings, schematics, test reports and documents as required.
• Should have experience of control panel design and PLC systems
• Good experience in developing different starting systems
• Working knowledge of PDM / PLM systems associated with engineering release processes
• Work closely with divisions and engineering center on need basis
• Prepare equipment specifications by electrical datasheets, equipment description and sizing
• Self-motivated concept developer and be able to adopt the best practices in industries
• Follow internal project management system, ISO processes / procedures and standards
• Comply to Epiroc values and culture

Experience requirements
4-6 years of experience in Electrical system / component design and development for Underground mining products.
Knowledge

• 
  Good knowledge of basics of Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation engineering
• Good knowledge of CAD software\xe2\x80\x99s like Auto CAD, Creo etc.
• Knowledge of design standards, PLC systems and programming skills for starting systems
• Exposure to design release process and change management
• Good knowledge of selection of isolators, contactors, relays, cable / wire transformer etc. with associated heat load calculation
• Working knowledge of PDM /PLM systems associated with engineering release processes
• Experience in designing of Underground mining products is an added advantage

Educational requirements
M.E / M. Tech / B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering from reputed institutions
