Responsibilities:

• Serve as the language expert on Deloitte India\'s thought leadership.
• Proofread, rewrite, restructure, and consultatively edit Deloitte\'s thoughtware and ensure adherence to the Writing and Style Guide.
• Deliver edits independently and confidently to clients.
• Have a command of the syntax and semantics of the language.
• Have attention to detail, especially towards ensuring consistency and an error-free deliverable.
• Project manage multiple projects and deliver edits timely.
• Adapt Deloitte\'s tone of voice to the deliverables.
• Consult with business and industry SMEs to provide constructive rewrites.
• Provide valuable feedback to the team in peer-proofing rounds.

• Generate insights from the thoughtware to create a robust executive summary.
• Modify content to make it SEO-friendly.

• Excellent project management and client management
• Proficient with AP and Chicago Manuals of Style
• Ability to express complex and technical ideas in simple English
• Analytical bent of mind

• Understanding of the business
• Understanding of SEO
• The candidate must have 5-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role

Education/professional qualifications
BA English or Journalism or Communications with extensive copyediting and writing experience; excellent written English that can be adapted to a specific audience
