Description: POSITION OVERVIEW : Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Expert POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : Hints: . EDI, File exchange platforms, Seeburger BIS, EDIFACT, XML, ANSI X12, IDOC, Webservices, Basic Java, Windows Server, Business document analysis, Business issue understanding IT Skills : Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) using EDI Tool Seeburger BIS6 , BIC mapping designer (seeburger Development tool) and Seeburger frontend knowledge . Excellent understanding communication protocols like AS2, OFTP2, FTP, SFTP and emails . EDI formats like EDIFACT,ANSIX12 and IDOC structure end to end overview . Experience on Electronic Data Interchange technologies, e.g. formats like EDIFACT, XML,ANSI X12 and IDOC Excellent understanding communication ways like HTTP(s), AS2, OFTP2, FTP, SFTP Clear understanding of webservices Basic understanding and knowledge of programming language, like Java Knowledge in SAP modules like MM, WM, PP will be highly preferred Windows server knowledge Daily tasks : Platform management of EDI- and File Exchange platforms Connect new national and international business partners, mainly suppliers, customers and logistic operators to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) using EDI software Seeburger BIS Development of new EDI messages and setup of configurations to fulfill change requests Monitoring, Trouble Shooting and Incident Resolution on existing interfaces Collaboration in international projects and teams
