POSITION SUMMARY: Assigned to the Engineering functional group to work in Electrical Engineering disciplines within project groups. Has a good knowledge of Electrical System and Physical design, the principles, and practices of related technical areas and of coordinating with other technical disciplines. Responsible for the review of project plans and specifications for constructability, conformance to regulatory agency requirements and productivity improvement. Provides consultation and guidance as required to iconic infrastructure buildings, hotels, luxury mansions of the project. Performs duties with a high degree of latitude, exercising independent judgment and reason. The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, and the desire to innovate designs as well as the work processes. This position requires coordination activities with Design Consultant Package Manager to ensure the electrical design packages are completed per the schedule. Work location will be anywhere including India office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Coordinates design/build packages to ensure they are issued in accordance with the schedule. Recommends and implements changes in design or construction methods. Advises project team of obvious discrepancies or trends that may be detrimental to the project. Monitors and manages progress of the Lead Design Organization. Review Consultant's drawings and Specifications prior to release for construction and identifies & eliminates potential problems. Sponsors and supports the automation development programs related to work execution. Prepare/Reviews conceptual Studies, Systems study, Equipment Sizing, reports, proposals, value engineering studies or alternate technical concepts in accordance with Engineering Procedures and contribute to the design of the project facilities. Develop Standard Work Process Procedures for quantity tracking and reporting. Works with Project Controls to implement a standard quantity reporting work process. Develops common guidelines and procedures for effective quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) programs. Prepare and/or assists in the preparation of cost estimates and quantity take-offs. Support the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and job satisfaction. Assist in on-the-job-training of assigned personnel and provide input for their performance evaluations. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Broad knowledge of all phases of engineering, design engineering deliverables, electrical materials, for development of various work areas, namely Recreational assets comprising of site wide infrastructure buildings, lighting for Ski Slopes Real Estate comprising of Hotels, Ultra Luxury mansions, Villages, lifestyle and resorts and Major structures consisting of Vault, Lake and Tunnel. Is conversant with use of applicable design codes governing Electrical systems, Equipment, and Physical design including Saudi Electrical Codes. Design, Engineering and interface of Building Power Management which includes controlling and monitoring of Building's mechanical and electrical equipment such as HVAC, Lighting, Power Systems, Fire Systems, access control and security systems. Broad knowledge of compliance standards. Understanding and experience of recognized software used in Engineering Design. Experienced with the practices and procedures as well as International Design Codes and Standards. Has experience with engineering work planning, scheduling and cost estimating. Skilled in oral and written communication and has presentation skills. Familiar with discipline-specific Autodesk Design suite (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) design workflows and impacts to discipline productivity, schedule, budget, and staffing plans. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: A recognized Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, from an accredited college or university with an overall experience of minimum 10 years. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Infrastructure projects with a focus on electrical design of Recreational assets comprising of site wide infrastructure and lighting and Real Estate comprising of Hotels, Ultra Luxury mansions, Villages, lifestyle and resorts. Relevant experience in the KSA and MENA region will be preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player and have a knowledge sharing approach. Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team and manage challenging multi-cultural relationships across a range of entities. Must be flexible and adapt to working in a demanding PMO environment, including the need to travel and work remotely if / when required.
