Electrical Engineer for Construction : Electrical Engineer for Construction Site Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our construction team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical systems and infrastructure on construction sites. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical systems, equipment, and installations throughout the construction project. Responsibilities: Electrical System Design and Planning:Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop electrical system designs and plans for construction projects.
Conduct load calculations, determine power distribution requirements, and select appropriate electrical equipment and components.
Prepare and review electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications. Installation and Commissioning:Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment on construction sites.
Ensure that electrical installations are performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify the proper functioning and compliance of electrical systems. Project Management:Develop project schedules and budgets for electrical works, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to procure electrical materials and equipment.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, addressing any electrical-related issues or challenges. Safety and Compliance:Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, electrical hazards, and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address electrical safety risks or potential failures.
Stay updated with industry advancements, codes, and regulations related to electrical systems, and ensure compliance throughout the project. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate documentation of electrical installations, modifications, and test results.
Prepare progress reports, technical reports, and project documentation as required.
Assist in the preparation of project close-out documentation and as-built drawings. Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer in construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in using electrical design software and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with construction project management processes and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Relevant professional certifications or licenses may be required, depending on local regulations.
