VACANCY FOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER Join us as Electrical Design Engineer you will become a part of the Core Automation team, which is responsible for the development of advanced control systems and IoT solutions for all Alfa Laval core products. The Position / About The Job In this job the Electrical Design Engineer would be responsible for: The Main Tasks Will Be New design of automation systems Carry out automation engineering which include specifications, electrical design, technical calculations, dimensioning, control-, starter- and HMI- panels, necessary technical documentation in PDM systems, manuals, panel testing, FAT of the complete machine deliveries. Specify all parts of a control system. Participate in project meetings. Participate in trainings, proposal and sales support Support start-up, commissioning and troubleshooting either on distance or on site. Act as mentor or role model for less experienced Automation engineers and help them resolve problems. Lifetime support of automation systems Maintenance of the design to keep it updated in PDM systems. Helpdesk service support, monitoring & controlling issues within timeline. Claims handling, technical investigations and related work. Support start-up, commissioning and troubleshooting either on distance or on site. What You Know Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering degree Electrical design tools like ePlan P8 or similar At least 5 years of experience Pre-bidding / sales support & prototype design CE-marking requirements; EN 60204-1, EN 13849 Safety design knowledge. In-depth knowledge of how to perform FAT. Experienced in maintenance & fault tracing of electrical automation systems. Experience with electrical engineering drawings Project work and product development. Fluent in written and spoken English.
