Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the role
Experience in Developing Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, Cable list, Single line drawing.
Experience in Developing Cable Sizing and Lighting calculation
Desirable experience in Developing Power System Analysis with ETAP
Req & responsibilities
Professionals with Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of relevant engineering experience in the industry sectors of Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical and having good knowledge in the following activities:

• Prepare Technical Specifications of Electrical Equipment\xe2\x80\x99s
• Prepare Data Sheets
• Prepare Cable size calculation and cables list (schedules)
• Prepare Load Lists
• Prepare Single line diagram with Designer support(only 2D drawings)
• Prepare Hazardous Area Classification with Designer support(only 2D drawings)
• Prepare Panel schedules (Power and Lighting)
• Prepare Interconnection and Wiring Diagrams
• Prepare Control Schematics
• Prepare MTO/BOM
• Lighting Calculations
• Typical Installation Details (Cable-tray & Trench, Grounding, Lighting and Power Layouts)
• Cable Tray and Trench sizing Calculations
• Electrical Equipment sizing (Transformers, Switchgears, Generators, Bus Ducts, UPS, Capacitors)
• Requisition for Inquiry and Purchase of Electrical Equipment\xe2\x80\x99s (TRANSFORMERS, SWITCHGEARS, GENERATORS, BUS DUCTS, UPS, CAPACITORS, CATHODIC PROTECTION) and Bulk Materials (Cables, Trays, Lighting and Grounding materials).
• Technical Bid Evaluation of Offers for Electrical Equipment\xe2\x80\x99s and Bulk Materials & TB Tabulation preparation.
• Vendor Documents Review of Electrical Equipment\xe2\x80\x99s and Bulk Materials.
• Good knowledge of International Codes & Standards like IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, NACE, ASME, ANSI, IP, API, ASTM, ISO, Shell DEP.

Software Skills:

• ETAP (LOAD FLOW, SHORTCIRCUIT, RELAY CO-ORDINATION, MOTORS STARTING & GROUNDING CALCULATIONS)
• LIGHTING CALCLATION DIALUX (4.13, EVO)
• AUTOCAD (not mandatory; an added advantage if familiar)
• MICROSTATION (not mandatory; an added advantage if familiar)
• SP3D(not mandatory; an added advantage if familiar)
