Description - External * System test case design & execution on E-Drive and on conventional powertrain systems.
Able to write system level test cases for E-Drivetrain (& conventional) and Vehicle dynamical features for the test setup using dSPACE Hardware -In-Loop consisting of electronic control units.
Good understanding of the control systems, controller algorithms pertaining to E-Drive/conventional PT, and Physical interaction at the system and hardware level.
Ability to understand, define and provide system interaction use cases with E-Drive/conventional systems in accordance with electrical, electronics and communication aspects.
Analysis of Vehicle Drive scenarios of vehicles and able to predict the performance on key control systems like Battery, Inverter, Motor, and other influential factors on thermal and comfort functions.
Communication and Interaction on frequent basis with system/component responsible in Germany /India for test design and execution
Ability to flash the software updates, creating the test and measurement environment, execution and debugging of the test cases in Dspace HIL environment.
Ability to automate the testing scenarios with automation tools.
Test defect analysis and validation report preparation.
The candidate should be able to understand system test case description, define test environment requisites for test case execution in Dspace Hardware -In-loop test setup.
Good understanding of SW testing concepts, experience in writing and executing system test cases in HIL.
Training and support other members.
Skillset
Ability to understand the system specification and derive the test cases independently.
Experience in executing system level testing in Hardware -in -loop or Vehicle with conventional /HEV/E-Drive driving scenarios.
Understanding of automotive standard protocols like CAN, LIN, XCP, UDS is recommended.
Familiarity with fault handling and diagnostics with in the E-Drive/Conventional vehicle system is needed.
Strong scripting skills for test automation in VB/Provetech/Python on HiL Systems
Strong troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis skills
Preparation and Presentation of detailed analysis and bug report
Hands on experience on HiL testing environments. (Preferred to have dSpace HiL)
Experience with Vehicle testing scenarios are an added advantage
Awareness with model fixed point conversion fundamentals
