Job Description

The Role Responsibilities

Business parameters:

  • Deliver Bancassurance business through existing channels of the Bank for the assigned region
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Certified personnel of these channels are equipped to deliver Insurance products to customers post understanding the customer needs
  • Ensure channel readiness - training on products and processes, activation of frontline
  • Deliver year on year grow & scale regional franchise for each business vertical.
  • Drive Insurance business with highest level of governance and process adherance
  • Contribute to a culture where all stakeholders feel open to raise concerns and deal with them in utmost transparency & fairness.
  • Keep quality of business as one of your prime responsibility - persistency at the highest level of industry standards.
  • Attend & Resolve all client escalations on priority
  • Zero tolerance on any compliance, risk and conduct related issues
Governance:
  • Take responsibility for undertaking the risk and compliance requirements of the Zonal Head role.
  • Ensure Insurance distribution is led by customer needs and customer is at the center of all processes
  • Understand & comply with applicable laws & regulations, the Group policies, procedures and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk & compliance matters.
  • All concerns raised on risk and compliance matters are addressed and misconduct appropriately dealt with.
  • Adherence to laws & regulations, internal risk and compliance and Group Code of Conduct.
  • Timely completion of all mandatory risk & compliance training, including E-learnings by the set deadlines by you & team members.
  • Proactive identification and reporting of risks and concerns.
People
  • Create a culture of continuous learning & development of processes, product & selling skills
  • Treat all team members fairly
  • Focus on upskilling and growth of team members
  • Control attrition
Manage Stakeholder:
  • Affluent/ CR Team, NR Teams, PCA, EB, BB, Private, Premium, Virtual client servicing teams, PRU, Niva Bupa, ICICI Lombard, Royal Sundaram
Desired skill set
  • Vintage - 10/12 + years of main stream team leading experience in selling/ recommending wealth products, preferably bancassurance business.
  • Deep experience of channel management & nurturing strong business alliances.
  • Good understating, creative thinking and experience of driving various campaigns successfully to drive teams and stakeholders to outperform.
Other Responsibilities
  • Be involved in overall Wealth Management initiatives
