Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of professional experience in security and/or risk management.

• 7 years of experience in team leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

• Certification in CPP, PSP, CSMP, etc.

• Experience planning and leading the activities of a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing remote teams and global operational across geographies.

• Experience implementing strategic change and initiatives.

• Ability to bring creative, non-standard, and innovative solutions to challenges, communicate complex and diverse data, and manage operational needs and safety needs with an organization's business and cultural goals.

• Ability to influence peers and executive leaders of an organization and communicate ideas and capabilities into effective initiatives that exceed expectations.

• Excellent leadership and critical thinking skills.

Global Security and Resilience Service's (GSRS) mission is to protect, sustain and enable Google's ability to thrive. In this role, you will collaborate with Google's regional leadership teams to secure Googlers, workplaces, and enterprise while creating innovative security strategies for the future.

As the Director of Security and Resilience Operations, you are responsible for the organizational resilience of Google's employees in the region, its facilities, and its businesses. You will be the GSRS representative in India and will be responsible for the delivery and performance of services and functions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security and resilience efforts throughout Google India operations (e.g., intelligence, threat and risk analysis, physical security, safety, investigations, travel security, vendor management, executive protection, and disruptive event management).

• Lead in crisis and understand the risk environment in India.

• Identify regional resilience needs, project management experience, and develop procedures to ensure that Google can pursue and sustain operations.

• Drive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, law enforcement, and government agencies to ensure operations and safety for multinational publicly traded brands.
