Position: Director Sales

Overview:
- The ideal candidate will possess both product sales and technical background that enables him or her to engage directly with the Customers.
- He/she should also be a self-starter who will be able to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan business objective.
- Candidate for this position will an Individual Contributor.
- He/she must have an existing relationship with leaders of established large conglomerates or large BFSI/Automobile companies.
- He/she should have a proven experience of handling large conglomerates.
Main Responsibilities:
- The role holder will be responsible for driving conglomerates sales and shall focus on growth areas.
- To develop and execute comprehensive conglomerates sector wise plan to meet and exceed business objectives.
- Plan and execute company\'s sales and revenue growth at conglomerates vertical and do business developments.
- Ensure sales growth by acquiring new accounts and upscale through existing strategic accounts.
- Ensure robust monthly, quarterly and yearly sales forecasting
- Build a strong sales funnel of large conglomerates cliental for well qualified revenue opportunities.
- Work closely with other members of sales, product team and other stake holders in leadership teams to build organizational synergy in order to close successfully a sales cycle and offer a great customer experience via our services.
- Ensure proactive sales visits to the existing and prospective clients for presenting companies added value services and products.
- Manage relationships with the existing customers to achieve business goals and maximize sales leads, directly and through the sales team.
- Manage closely all internal leads when it comes to sales and new opportunity.
- Represent company in all major industry specific events, conferences, and seminar etc.
- Ensure she/he has updated sales related MIS, pipelines and forecasts.
- Problem solving and analysis. Actively handle problems, propose effective solutions in line with the analysed information
- To develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and generate reference able case studies.
- To create & articulate compelling value propositions around STT GDC India offerings
- To possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) infrastructure solutions.
- To meet/exceed set business objectives - Quarterly and Yearly sales targets.
- To maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports
- To execute sales development activities to achieve the quarterly and annual targets
- To work along with solutions team to create optimized solution
- To work with solutions and procurement team to get the best price for given solution components from various Partners.
- To work with Finance team for creating tool for business case approval
- To lead and facilitate the customer discussions to convince on value proposition and positioning of the services.
- To lead and facilitate negotiation of the contract terms along with service description, SLA documentation to meet both client and company needs
- To get the COF as per final agreed T&C and order logging through internal.
- To facilitate issues during the Service Delivery along with project team.
- To facilitate Service Delivery team to get the timely delivery done
DESIRED PROFILE:
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
- MBA Marketing Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred - B.E + MBA in Marketing from Top B-School.
WORK EXPERIENCE
(Minimum years of experience required)
- 20+ years of experience in handling sales for similar businesses.
SKILLS
(Technical aspects)
- A detail orientation, ability to prioritize work and clearly communicate, lead and drive the team.
- Aware about the Datacentre business
SOFT SKILLS
- Execution with the ability to handle multiple partners in a fast-paced environment
- Eye for partner penetration to get more partners on board
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Independence, initiative, flexibility and strong commitment
- Willingness to travel (as and when required)
