About the role:

Director \xe2\x80\x93 Omni Business services (Social, Search and Print) 10 \xe2\x80\x93 15 years of overall experience in business service delivery, Digital Marketing and People Leadership. This role involves managing the delivery operations of three disparate service areas, supporting different regions and business units across the globe.
  • Social Media Listening
Through Social Listening service, the team analyses the social media data to glean candid insights, understanding the emotions being projected by patients, HCPs across various platforms and even identify the key influential influencers.
  • US Print Production
Enables the US market to produce high quality print assets with a fast turnaround and lesser cost.
  • Search Engine optimization.
The team enables organic traffic to the brand websites through optimization tactics. The Omni Ops associate director will ensure that services are delivered to meet the overall vision and direction of the service lines, ensuring all performance levels are met or exceeded, while inspiring, motivating, and engaging their team fulfilling AstraZeneca\xe2\x80\x99s vision of creating a great place to work for all our employees. This person will look to develop their employees, creating an outstanding level of quality and performance across their service areas. High accountability and results orientation are critical, while also demonstrating the ability to use several different leadership styles as appropriate to achieve both a strong and a highly engaged team. The selected person will be responsible for leading continuous improvement projects for the tower and freeing up of time to support GBS objectives. The person will also lead on expansion and explore cases relevant to the service.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Run operations working with the regional Omni delivery teams.
  • Lead monthly governance meetings. Represent the functional team at client meetings and governance meetings.
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations. Manage relationships with all stakeholders. Monitor their progress and adherence to the contract.
  • Review and manage all changes to the requirements through a formally defined scope change process.
  • Monitor and report on service delivery metrics and overall performance
  • Maintain relationships with technical teams and client stakeholder\xe2\x80\x99s business partners. Communicate on major service issues and address customer concerns.
  • Manage service delivery functional teams and individual objectives, performance and development.
  • Advocate the use of effective measures in demand and risk analysis for proposed service changes
  • Provide insight into developing solutions for any service changes
  • Coordinating with different teams / stakeholders to ensure any major incidents are managed professionally
  • Reporting on process improvements, team performance and agreed service levels
  • Determine the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule.

Essential skills and experience

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent
  • 10-15 years of experience working in marketing campaigns, Business Service Delivery, or Business Process Outsourcing, preferably in Life Sciences Industry.
  • 5-10 years of leadership experience, preferably leading, managing and developing large teams of professionals.
  • 5-10 years of experience in customer facing operations environment.
  • Experience of working with multiple 3rd party providers, including information technology partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with demonstrated experience building trusted relationships with key stakeholders. Proven cross-functional collaboration skills across organizations, functions, and markets is preferred.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven ability to learn in a rapidly evolving environment. Ability to grasp and understand new technology and concepts quickly and readily apply findings.
  • Experience working in globally distributed team.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Significant experience of local and/or Global Brand Marketing experience.
  • Health Sciences and Pharmaceutical Industry experience.
  • Digital Marketing experience.
  • Supplier Management experience.
  • Managing and driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Talent management and developing others.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proven track record working cross functionally with high level of commitment and follow through.
  • Business outsourcing process experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
