Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a key technology pillar at Visa, responsible for providing secure access to misc. payment related applications and services from a variety of users (employees, businesses, and customers across) globally. To stay ahead of the rapidly changing security landscape especially with globalization of Visa\'s business and newer form factors of access via new devices, IOT etc., has direct impact on IAM Services. IAM team is rapidly growing and has a global presence in Singapore, Beijing, Bangalore, London, Austin, and Foster City.

Essential Functions:

Manage a team of highly focused developers and technical product managers and work with each one to bring optimal results, while ensuring career growth and personal achievement

Own and execute projects and initiatives in/affecting ownership areas - ensuring high quality of deliverables and adherence to best practices.

Advocate and ensure adherence to best practices and adopted processes, providing a high level of visibility, transparency, and compliance

Work with, coach/mentor individuals in the team, ensuring regular 1:1 meetings, career and aspiration discussions and setting goals in alignment with enterprise goals

Work with stakeholders to build roadmaps, provide technical direction and work with direct reports and peer teams to ensure goals are met

Provide technical direction and thought leadership in areas of ownership.

Keep updated with technology trends and bring new ideas and innovation to the team and the organization at large.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience
• 4 or more years of experience managing development or delivery teams, managing both delivery and individuals in the team.
• Proven experience in delivering global, large-scale IAM service provider systems, overseeing data architecture, development, and systems integration, aligning complex business problems to appropriate technology solutions that deliver strong returns on investment.
• Prior experience on IAM/Security products with a focus on Access Management and on building enterprise scale integrations using SAML, OpenID, OAuth
• Experience with openSSH, certificate-based authentication and delivering enterprise rollouts to use ssh at scale
• Experience with SUDO customizations such as enforcement of MFA and delivering enterprise rollouts to use SUDO at scale
• Prior experience in Cryptography, Data encryption, hashing algorithms, and HTTPS / TLS protocols
• Proven leadership abilities with a focus on building teams and mentoring great talent
• Strong understanding of source code management, unit and integration tests, static code analysis and SDLC
• Excellent inter-personal, analytical & communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to effectively work with all stakeholders to improve data and business processes and to negotiate priorities.
• Affinity for an engineering culture that emphasizes Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience on IAM/Security products related to Governance, user lifecycle management such SailPoint / Oracle
• Prior knowledge of Apache big data analytics tools like Kafka, Spark, HDFS, Elastic Search and/or JavaScript Frameworks
• Security Certifications \xe2\x80\x93 CISSP, CISM or others
