About the Role

As the Director of Employer Branding & Communications, you will nurture and amplify Zeta as a brand for our employees (called Zetanauts), alumni, prospective employees and associated audiences. You will be successful in this role when:

  • Zetanauts feel strong pride, belonging, and alignment with the organization

This is not a tactical employer branding role that is focused on only running weekly newsletters and conducting town halls. Rather, we are looking for a particular type of individual who deeply understands:
  • That employee experience is a \xe2\x80\x98product\xe2\x80\x99 that must be nurtured and managed
  • That employer branding requires every bit as much strategy, brand building, and

campaign management as do our campaigns for our clients and prospects
  • How to leverage marketing principles & playbooks are needed for internal audiences
  • That internal communications must be a core strategic objective for any organization

Reporting To: Chief Marketing Offic

Key Responsibilities

    • Drive the process to define, and then subsequently publish and evangelize the Zeta\xe2\x80\x99s Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
    • Engage in active listening & engagement across various social media channels
    • Partner with People Success, Business & Technology Leaders, and Zeta\xe2\x80\x99s founders to influence the policies & frameworks that frame our employee experience
    • Build a variety of content assets for communication across channels (Blogs, Emails, Internal Communications, White Papers, POVs, Position Papers, etc)
    • Design & execute Employer Branding (EB) Lightning Strikes[1] - that leverage various forms of media, channels, content and communications strategies that concentrate energy to move the needle for Zeta-as-a-People-Brand
    • Manage EB budgets and all vendor relationships and leverage them for maximum impact and efficiency
    • Drive consistent, personalized, segmented & impactful 360-degree communications across channels across the entire employee lifecycle
    • Conduct media briefings & engagement in conjunction with our media relations team
    • Market all key internal events (virtual & physical) to relevant audiences
    • Measure & report on key metrics for success on a consistent basis across marketing activities, campaigns, and other people indicators (such as EPS)
    • Stay constantly updated on significant organizational undercurrents
    • Own the design, creative elements, and physical & digital touchpoints for our communications with employees
    • Drive internal crisis communications & war rooms
    • Standardize all internal communication templates across the Founders, IT, Real-Estate and Workplace, People Success & Talent Acquisition and various other teams addressing employees at large

Experience and Education

    • Undergraduate Degree in Engineering + Graduate Business Degree (MBA or equivalent)
    • 15+ years experience in a senior marketing or Employer Brand building role
    • Experience in B2B enterprise, SaaS / Cloud-based products is a strong plus
    • Experience in building an Employer Brand ground up is a strong plus
    • Deep experience in at least 4 out of the following core marketing disciplines (Events, Display Advertising, PPC/SEM, SEO, Data Pipelines, Email Marketing, Content Creation, Marketing Operations)
