Assistant Manager Digital - Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) As Assistant Manager Digital Marketing, you will help in presenting EY GDS's global employer brand on digital media through impactful strategies combined with data and insights, robust media plans, build a strong advocate network, and guide in the development of creating compelling content. Your role will help us make EY GDS an aspirational workplace to be in amongst the potential talent, showcase our technology competencies, and expand the brand presence in all media placements and awareness among laterals. In addition, you will receive opportunities to work on projects end to end where you will define, plan, execute and measure campaign impact. Being the EY brand custodian, you will help the larger team in following processes, procedures and guidelines for digital teams and ensure they with EY policies.

Your key responsibilities

You will be primarily responsible for establishing and creating awareness for EY GDS in the online space. You will also promote EY GDS as the employer of choice and as a technology organization using social, digital and employee advocacy platforms. To do this, you should understand the EY landscape, EY GDS marketing and business goals, and working in a matrixed organization. You will also work with the talent team to help with recruitment branding and lead generation for the service lines you are aligned to. All campaigns should be able to showcase ROI, higher channel penetration and expansion. In addition, individually be able to handle stakeholders, understand their level of expertise, educate and explain the plan and positively influence their decision making to achieve the overall objective.
As an employee advocacy lead, your responsibilities will include:
  • Increase positive SOV of EY GDS mentions on social media by building employees as advocates and engaging employees and leaders on their social media accounts
  • Strategize so our employees and leaders can share quality thought leadership content, EY branded content, recruitment creatives, CSR campaigns, employer branding content and employee-driven stories to increase EY GDS employer brand value
  • Communicate with numerous stakeholders, educate them on building a solid personal social media brand, and influence EY GDS brand value and goals. Ensure the program is always active

As a digital marketing lead, your responsibilities will include:
  • Increase the visibility of the service line in various digital platforms
  • Manage the website content for service line and improve SEO
  • Create a digital plan according to business requirements and ensure the objective is clearly met. This includes working on SEM, ad platforms and social networks to get better-targeted ad placements
  • Advise service line leadership on how to effectively use digital and social communications channels to make an impact with audiences
  • Manage communications activities to help potential employees feel that GDS is the most incredible place to build the career of their choice
  • Use audience targeting platforms to identify potential talent
  • Liaison with service line BMC SPOCS teams and social networks to secure better content placement, understand new channel opportunities and increase performance
  • You must translate business strategy into measurable tactics aligned with business goals, work in virtual teams, and manage a range of global and GDS communications programs/ initiatives.

Skills and attributes for success
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in successfully executing digital marketing campaigns. A zealous, goal-oriented individual willing to go the extra mile to achieve the task at hand. Be well versed in the digital and social media landscape. Excellent copywriting, editing and storytelling skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have be/have
  • An established professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Worked on B2B brands, technology organizations managed or worked with agencies
  • Worked on social media and have managed paid, owned and earned media
  • Good knowledge of SEO, SEM, programmatic, paid ad platforms
  • Native level expertise in English to create and edit creative content for social and digital media
  • Has worked on various campaign measurement tools, social media analytics and digital analytics tools like Randian 6, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Google analytics, Adobe Analytics, Buzz Sumo, etc.

Ideally, you'll also be/have
  • Passionate about new digital technologies and communication methodologies
  • Keen to look beyond the obvious creative solutions
  • Good knowledge of audience segmentation and targeting platforms
  • Experience in employer branding and recruitment branding campaigns
  • Experience in managing websites. Proficiency in CMS, AEM platforms would be a plus, though not compulsory
  • Use marketing data and analytics to build insightful campaigns.
  • Previous experience in developing and launching programs for large and matrix organizations
