Zix | AppRiver is looking for an Account Executive to be a part of our Direct Sales team. The Account Executive will be responsible for generating revenue from new business opportunities and existing install base customers, within assigned geography. YOU ARE GREAT AT: Manage annual territory quota. Responsible for strategic and tactical territory planning. Successfully manage territory\'s new business opportunities and install base opportunities by selling Zix\'s email data protection solutions and cross-selling additional product offerings to install base customers. Work closely with the territory\'s Referral Agents to find new and grow the existing footprint of referral partners. Daily telemarketing to prospects - balancing between uncovering new opportunities and working on existing pipeline accounts. During the sales cycle, successfully leverage Zix\'s System Engineers. Provide a weekly sales forecast to management highlighting the territory\'s sales activity. WHAT IT TAKES: Mature sales professional with a can-do attitude 5+ years of successful professional telephone sales Prior experience in the software industry Excellent telephone skills Ability to work in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple objectives BA/BS degree or equivalent business experience preferred Travel as required This job is expected to pay in the range of $48,000to $109,000 USD in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan.
