Job Description

:

Security Management

• Oversee security of man, material, machines and assets in the plant and mines. Liaison with law enforcement agencies for supporting business activities at Pali Cement Works.
• Oversee the deployment and supervision of guards. Update job responsibilities and duties of security personnel at each post and ensure their compliance.
• Identify training needs and impart training in security duties and firefighting.
• Practice fire fighting drills and ensure maintenance of fire fighting equipment.
• Work in close coordination with other departments.
• Ensure effective functioning of contract security agencies.

Transport Management

• Plan and ensure deployment of companies as well as hired vehicles and ensure its optimum utilisation
• Check road worthiness of vehicles and ensure deployment as per company policy.
• Check timely movement of buses as well as vehicles for company employees and guest pick up.
• Check accounting of mileage and fuel and identify areas of cost reduction.

Facility Management & Administration

• Review services of all facilities such as Transit House etc.
• Check upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and ensure proper hygiene and sanitation.
• Ensure proper budgeting of all the facilities and ensure its compliance without any deviation.
• Train, guide and support employees, vendors and contractors from time to time.
• Plan and ensure timely procurement of furniture and fixtures at all the facilities.

Liaison Activities

• Liaison with Govt. officials, Local Police, Local admin., nearby villagers, NGO's, transporters etc. to achieve harmonious relations at all locations.
