5G/4G Oracle Packet Core Signalling & Policy charging expert

Role description

In this role, you will be responsible for Integration and providing technical support and services for Oracle Communications products, specifically focusing on the Signalling/Policy/Charging NF\'s (STP,PCRF/PCEF, DPI, DRA, AAA ). You will be Responsible to Generate deliverables such as KPI reports, maintenance reports, health checks, high-level designs (HLD), scope documents, method of procedures (MoPs), acceptance test plans (ATPs), solution architecture and engineering documents (SAED), network architecture and planning documents (NAPD), and low-level designs (LLD).

Responsibilities

• Support Managed Services for Oracle Communications products, with a strong focus on Oracle DSR and Oracle PCRF.
• Work on different infrastructure deployments, such as bare metal, virtualized, or cloud-based environments (IaaS or PaaS).
• Generate deliverables such as KPI reports, maintenance reports, health checks, high-level designs (HLD), scope documents, method of procedures (MoPs), acceptance test plans (ATPs), solution architecture and engineering documents (SAED), network architecture and planning documents (NAPD), and low-level designs (LLD).
• Responsible for integration of PCRF/PCEF, DPI, DRA, AAA along with other 5G Core Nodes.
• DRA routing table definitions, Diameter Interfaces integration on DRA.
• NPDB configurations (IMSI, DN, SPID),SCCP related Configuration, Sigtran / ATM/ TDM (LSL, HSL) configuration.
• Handled SCCP/ MTP traffic migrations and Configuration Changes

• GSM MAP Screening and TOBR based screening config. Hardware additions, software patch updates. Feature / Service enabling.
• Excellent knowledge of SS7 and DIAMETER call flows. Coordination with Planning/ Customer/Back office /Project etc, Adherence to Processes.
• Provide support for network monitoring, system installations, upgrades/downgrades, system migrations, troubleshooting, provisioning solutions, feature activation, custom script creation, scaling, and VNFM support.
• Knowledge of Diameter protocols and call flows (S6a, S6d, S13, SWx, Gx, Gy and other interface types).
• Solid understanding of Diameter (RFC 3588),
• Strong Technical competence on ORACLE Eagle 5 STP and ORACLE NPDB. Network Architecture and its subparts.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure technical compatibility with third-party products required for network implementations.
• Perform network node integration and design and integrate network nodes in 4G/LTE/IMS/5G networks.

• Bachelor\'s degree (B. Tech) in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in a technical work environment, preferably in a subject matter expert (SME) role.
• Experience working with Oracle DSR and Oracle PCRF is desirable.
• Knowledge or working experience with other key Oracle products such as SCP/NRF/NSSF/PCF/BSF/NEF is an advantage.
• Familiarity with managed services, customer presentations, system installations, upgrades, feature testing, and troubleshooting in rotational shifts.
• Advanced knowledge of Diameter/SS7/Sigtran/GSM MAP/TCAP protocols, and familiarity with HTTP2 Diameter.
• In-depth understanding of PCRF/PCEF, DPI, DRA, AAA, Radius/Diameter, and Diameter interfaces (Gx, Gy, S6a, S13, Sy, Ro, Cx, Sh, etc.) used in 4G LTE and IMS environments.
• Experience working on complex telecom projects for the deployment of Diameter Nodes/applications in bare metal, virtual, and cloud environments.
