Job Description








Ensuring project performance through design/ engineering and Protecting contractual interest: Validation of design engineering documentation prepared by Engineering Managers, Design engineers and ensuring contractual interest towards testing commissioning and plant performance protocol is safeguarded as per contract conditions for all projects in the Region. Ensuring EOT (Extension of time) claim ground is well established through engineering trackers and cost is covered by valid variation claims for all projects in the Region.
  • Design Validation & Value Engineering: Ability to study and validate tender design and offer qualitative value engineering inputs for acceptance. Build \xe2\x80\x98Design and build\xe2\x80\x99 offer for specific applications.
  • Project review meetings: Drive/ conduct purposeful project review meeting among Engineering, procurement and Project Manager ( Construction) and publish actionable MOMs
  • Drive Engineering Quality through 3D Revit compliance, GFC shop drawing quality & TDS quality: Ensuring that drawings of all projects are prepared in 3D Revit only. Drive GFC(Good for Construction) drawing quality by Conducting regular workshops with engineering team to improve overall GFC drawing quality by analyzing all shop drawings prepared and providing improvement inputs to the team members. Ensuring all TDS(Technical Data Sheet) submittals address equipment performance, plant performance and battery limit criteria .and providing inputs to team members
  • Managing deliverables of Engineering Managers (EMs): Keeping track of quality of output by EMs (M5/M6)as per their functional role and guiding them to improve their competence.
  • Developing domain expertise & knowledge for plumbing, fire protection and MEP : Develop on individual or collective basis development in domain knowledge for these important topics
  • Market Knowledge: Constantly upgrade knowledge with latest developments in Engineering industry with respect to the technology, equipments, components, Building Management Systems etc.
  • Mentoring: Studying work output and analyzing training needs and ensuring same is provided to make draftsmen into independent deliverable professional. Mentoring of campus recruits (GETs) and lateral recruits for their expected functional role. Keeping track of their progress , training needs and develop them into independent deliverable professional
  • People Management: Build a strong, motivated and engaged team. Develop and coach the team members for taking higher responsibilities and for an integrated MEP approach
