Roles & Responsibilities
§ you will be required to design, develop and engineer high quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
§ You will update and maintain all product design files, both 2D and 3D.
§ You will be required to visit fabricator facility to oversee prototyping and fabrication of designed models, validate functionalities and resolve issues during product development.
§ Function as the eyes on ground for the engineering team during product validation and deployment.
§ Determine limitations, assumptions and solutions in the design and development of CAD models.
§ Check products for feasibility, performance, costs, quality, safety, legislation and timing.
Desired Skills:
§ Prior experience in design and development using 3D and 2D CAD tools
§ Prior experience in 2D part/assembly drawings with Creo Parametric
§ Sound spatial imagination and methodical understanding
§ Ability to interpret technical and scientific documents
§ Strong hold over GD&T. Familiarity with industry standards.
§ Past experience with over-seeing sheet-metal fabrication
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with documentation abilities.
Qualifications:
§ B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or similar disciplines.
§ 2+ years of work experience as CAD engineer.
§ Prior work experience in Creo Parametric
