Job Description

• 12 to 16 years of relevant Industry Experience
• End-to-end maintenance of the DevOps pipeline from development, testing, Production installation and post production maintenance
• Preferred experience of SRE in managing cloud-based production applications
• Understanding of distributed applications in a container environment (Docker/Kubernetes) along with experience configuring and administrating Linux (or other Unix-like) systems
• Strong working experience with DevOps, Agile, and Design/Implementation within CI/CD and Secure Software Engineering Best Practices.
• Create automated orchestration and deployment solutions using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, as well as other open-source solution
• Own and deploy to non-prod and prod environments
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation

Primary Skills

• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage.
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
• Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer.
• Setting up CI/CD pipeline and building test automation framework.
• Drive technical discussions and design solutions around it.

Secondary Skills

• Technically coach the team members and provide real time solutions to complex problems
• Perform Coding and unit testing independently, and assist/mentor team members whenever required
• Adherence to coding standards
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other engineers/QE and onshore team
• Partner with business and enterprise architecture team to understand requirements and design/develop end to end solution
• Develop high performance reusable shared libraries (or) pipeline as code
• Practice agile solution delivery & influence teams towards engineering best practices such as DevOps / CICD / Everything as a code
• Follow engineering best practices and coding principles for successful delivery of program/project
• Partner closely with global teams to implement the design
